The End of English Independence!

Historically speaking, 1605 and 1707 meant the end of English independence.

There were English people during this period who were not happy about this to varying degrees. James I and VI of Scotland was shocked at how easy it was for him to take the throne of England. Until this period Scotland was as distinct a country from England as France still is from England today.
This Union of 1605 and 1707 was clearly imperialist. But it also was oppressive of England.
We English should have a say over our own freedom.

The English Monarchy.

The English Monarchy was abolished and rescinded - in the name of the English people - in 1649.

Freedom of speech

Freedom of worship

Freedom from want

Freedom from fear.

Let us make sure that England defends freedom.

Happy Saint George's Day to the English-Speaking World!

Winston Churchill liked and developed this concept - the English-speaking world.

For me it signifies a defence of liberty.
